Nikole and Bert's Wedding

Yesterday was my sister-in-law Nikole's wedding! She married her high school sweetheart, Bert. I helped a lot with the whole thing and I'm glad it is over, but it turned out great! Nikole looked so beautiful and they both seem so happy! I was honored to be Nikole's matron of honor which was fun. I got to dress up and sign the marriage license! Anyway, here are some pictures!

Too bad I was looking down. Joe looks wonderful in this pic! He's wearing Allen's hot shirt and sporting his new hairdo! He looks so handsome!

Nikole's wedding ring. They designed it!
Bert's sister made the cake. It was a carrot cake and very delicious! They were pretty tame with their cake feeding!

I helped make these corsages. it was fun to learn how and not really that hard!

Here I am with Nikole and Bert in the middle. Their friend Dane performed the ceremony and did a great job. Harrison is the best man and Bert's older brother. We love you Nikole and Bert! Good luck with everything!

So, Joe is trying to teach his youngest sister how to drive a standard. She just finished drivers ed and the car she gets to drive is a standard. This picture pretty much sums up the whole experience!

Weekend of the 4th

We went camping at Willowcreek by Featherville on the weekend of the 4th of July. We only stayed for one night, but had a lot of fun! Here's some pictures!

Here's a picture at Malad Gorge.

The doe that kept coming into our camp.

Joe and I in our patriotic matching shirts. He didn't want to wear it but I made him! I think we were cute!

Silly Joe!

Zoo and Park fun

I went to the park and zoo with my friend Kimmy and her two cute kids before I moved from Pocatello. I'm going to miss you so much Kimmy!

Graduation Pictures

Thought I'd post some graduation pictures! Oh by the way, I passed all of my Dental Hygiene board exams! I am now waiting for the board of dentistry to give me my license and then I will be able to work! Yay! I have truly been blessed to be able to make it through all of this. I am scared to start a new job, but I know that there is a plan for what I am to do. Here's the pics!

The Burning....

So I finally have internet again and decided I better post some pictures and things. These are some pictures from a couple weeks ago. It shows my new haircut. I decided to burn all of my dental hygiene papers. Two big black garbage bags full of papers from three years in the program. It was pretty satisfying! Joe helped me do some of the burning.

A New Start

Life is going by so fast I can hardly believe it! I haven't had internet so I haven't been keeping up on here too well.

I finally graduated from ISU with a bachelor degree in Dental Hygiene in May. I also did three weeks of summer clinic because I wanted to be fresh on my skills for boards which are next week already!!! I hope my patient shows up and qualifies and that I pass everything. These tests are really expensive and if I don't pass I have to go somewhere else to take it and pay more money and everything, so wish me luck!

We are getting ready to move to Kimberly to Joe's parents house for a while. They are really awesome to let us intrude on their space for a while. Hopefully I will find a job soon so we won't have to be there too long. I have an interview in Sun Valley for a job in a couple of weeks. It would be crazy for that to be my first job. We'll see what happens!

Joe is starting a recording business. He wants to record demos of people's bands and try to make some money that way. He has been going a little crazy getting equipment and everything figured out. I think that it will be a good thing for him once it gets up and going. He is pretty excited about it and the fact that we are leaving Pocatello. He thinks that the music scene has to be better pretty much anywhere else.

I got a new camera for my graduation present from my parents which I LOVE! It's a Cannon PowerShot and I very nice. I will post pictures on here sometime when I have more access to the internet.

I also got my hair cut and my braces off!! I feel like a new woman! :-) My hair is really short, but I'm liking it as a summer haircut. Again, I will post pictures soon.

I have been trying to learn how to knit. If anyone can give me any hints it would be great. I'm sure I have a huge following on here and will get 20 comments to help me! :-) j/k I think only my sisters read my blog!

Anyway, like the title of my post says, I feel like we are getting a new start. It's kind of scary but exciting at the same time. We really don't know where we will be or what we will be doing in the next little while. Sometimes a new start is needed though and we're ready for it!
