A New Start

Life is going by so fast I can hardly believe it! I haven't had internet so I haven't been keeping up on here too well.

I finally graduated from ISU with a bachelor degree in Dental Hygiene in May. I also did three weeks of summer clinic because I wanted to be fresh on my skills for boards which are next week already!!! I hope my patient shows up and qualifies and that I pass everything. These tests are really expensive and if I don't pass I have to go somewhere else to take it and pay more money and everything, so wish me luck!

We are getting ready to move to Kimberly to Joe's parents house for a while. They are really awesome to let us intrude on their space for a while. Hopefully I will find a job soon so we won't have to be there too long. I have an interview in Sun Valley for a job in a couple of weeks. It would be crazy for that to be my first job. We'll see what happens!

Joe is starting a recording business. He wants to record demos of people's bands and try to make some money that way. He has been going a little crazy getting equipment and everything figured out. I think that it will be a good thing for him once it gets up and going. He is pretty excited about it and the fact that we are leaving Pocatello. He thinks that the music scene has to be better pretty much anywhere else.

I got a new camera for my graduation present from my parents which I LOVE! It's a Cannon PowerShot and I very nice. I will post pictures on here sometime when I have more access to the internet.

I also got my hair cut and my braces off!! I feel like a new woman! :-) My hair is really short, but I'm liking it as a summer haircut. Again, I will post pictures soon.

I have been trying to learn how to knit. If anyone can give me any hints it would be great. I'm sure I have a huge following on here and will get 20 comments to help me! :-) j/k I think only my sisters read my blog!

Anyway, like the title of my post says, I feel like we are getting a new start. It's kind of scary but exciting at the same time. We really don't know where we will be or what we will be doing in the next little while. Sometimes a new start is needed though and we're ready for it!

I do enjoy reading your blog, but I unfortunately don't know how to knit. Congratulations on finishing school! Good luck with all of the big changes happening!

I read too:) Congrats on graduating! I am so proud of you! You stuck it out and you made it! I hope you find your dream job soon! A fresh start is a lovely thing! How nice to just be done with school and on to making a career!

Good luck to Joe with that. Sun Valley might just be a good place for a business like that?? I don't know? That would also be a fun, fun, beautiful place to live. I hope you get it!

And I want to see a picture of your new do and new smile!

Yeah for change! Congratulations on school, too!

As far as knitting I would talk to my mom or even my sister, Britta. I'm sure there are people in the ward who can help in person. Britta has done some really fun things that she swears aren't super hard to learn. :)
