Sad news...
One of our hamsters, Penny had to be put down two days ago. She had an abscess in her cheek pouch and was suffering. She was a good hamster and we loved her. We hope her sister Pearl will be okay without her. Anyway, she was a good pet for us and we know she is better off now. We couldn't bury her since the ground is frozen, but we sent her off down the Lemhi River. Goodbye Penny!

Oh I am sorry for your (and Pearl's) loss. I hope that Pearl will be okay too. She lived a long time for a hamster, didn't she?
(I guessed they only live a few years??)
